How referral partners login and use the portal

Chief 2.0 includes a Partner Portal designed to keep you connected with your business partners and streamline referral management.

Referral partners can:

·      View deals they are linked to

·      Access and update deal information

·      Add comments and upload documents

·      Edit client profiles

·      Track deal progress through workflow stages

·      Submit new deals directly to your organisation

You also control what information partners can view or edit on a deal. Both you and your partner will receive notifications when new deals or updates are submitted.

This powerful tool makes managing referral deals faster and easier.

  

Enabling Partner Login Access

To ensure your referral partner receives login details:

  

Partner Added Email Event must be enabled

·      OFF → Partner will NOT receive login details
  (Use when adding a partner for commission purposes only)

·      ON → Partner receives login access and notifications

  

What Happens Next?

Once the partner role is assigned, the partner will receive two emails.

  

Email 1: Verify Email Address

The partner must:

1.        Copy the verification code

2.        Click Verify

3.        Enter the code

After verification, they can close the tab. A second email will follow.

  

Email 2: Sign In & Set Password

The partner will:

1.        Copy the temporary password

2.        Click Sign In

3.        Enter their email address

4.        Enter the temporary password

5.        Create a new password

After setting their password, they can log in like a standard user.

They will then receive a PIN code for verification.

Once entered, they will be successfully logged into the Partner Portal.

  

Viewing Referrals

When partners first log in, they may not see any referrals if:

·      They have not yet been linked to a deal, or

·      No referrals have been submitted.

  

How Partners Submit a New Referral

1.        Click Add New (top right corner)

2.        Select Refer a New Client

3.        Enter client details:

o   Name

o   Phone number

o   Email address

1.        Click Add

2.        Select the broker who will manage the deal

Partners can also:

·      Add multiple clients

·      Include referral notes

Once submitted, the new deal is immediately visible to the broker in the allocated referral workflow for that partner.
