Hints & Tips: Moving Deals Across Workflows

There are a few different ways to move deals across workflows, depending on what suits your workflow best:
Option 1: Drag and Drop (Quickest)
- Click and hold the deal tile
- Drag it into the desired stage
- You’ll be prompted to confirm the stage change, as moving stages may trigger an automation
Option 2: Change Stage Within the Deal
- Open the deal card
- Click the stage you want to move the deal to along the top of the screen
- Confirm the change when prompted (automations may apply)
Option 3: Preview Mode
- Click the Preview icon (binoculars) in the top-right corner of the deal
- Select Move to another workflow at the bottom of the screen
- Choose the new stage and click Move
Option 4: Change Deal Menu
- Select the deal card
- Click Change Deal
- Choose Move to another workflow
- Select the new stage and click Move
Reminder: Changing a deal stage may trigger automations, so always review the confirmation message before proceeding.

Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Switch to List View
Change the view from Board View to List View. You’ll find this option in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Select the Deals
- Select individual deals by clicking the checkbox next to each deal, or
- Select all deals on the page by clicking the checkbox in the top-left corner.
- You can deselect any deals you don’t want to move.
Important: There is a limit of 50 deals per page. If you have more than 50 deals, move to the next page and repeat the selection process.
Step 3: Move Deals to Another Workflow
- In the side panel, select Move to another workflow
- Choose the new workflow stage
- Click Move to confirm
If the Workflow Isn’t Visible
If the workflow you want to move deals to does not appear, it’s likely because it supports different deal types (for example, not just Home Loans).
To resolve this:
- Go to Settings → Process → Workflows
- Select the workflow you need and click Edit
- Remove any additional deal types
- Click Save
Once updated, return to EDM and repeat Steps 1–3 to move your deals successfully.
