Downloading lender serviceability calculators

There are three ways to download lender serviceability calculators in Chief. Depending on your needs, you can download a blank calculator or a pre-filled version.

  

Option 1 – Lender Document Library (Blank Calculator)

Use this option if you need a blank servicing calculator.

1.        Select Library

2.        Choose Lender Document Library

3.        Under the Lenders tab:

o   Select the lender from the dropdown menu, or

o   Type the lender name in the search field

1.        In the Type dropdown menu, select Serviceability Calculator

2.        Click Download under the Action column

  

Note: This downloads a blank servicing calculator that you will need to complete manually.

  

Option 2 – Quick Tools (Pre-filled Calculator)

Use this option to generate a calculator pre-filled from a scenario.

1.        Select Quick Tools

2.        Complete the scenario details

3.        On the right-hand side, locate the lender list

4.        Click the Options button beside the lender

5.        Select Download Calculator

6.        Select Save

7.        Enable macros when prompted

8.        Open the file as Read Only

  

Option 3 – From the Deal Card (Pre-filled Calculator)

Use this option to generate a calculator using deal card information.

1.        Open the Deal Card

2.        Select Home Loan Tools

3.        Complete the Product Search

4.        Click Compare Products

5.        Click the Options button (three dots) beside a product

6.        Select Servicing Calculator from the dropdown menu

7.        Select Save

8.        Enable macros when prompted

9.        Open the file as Read Only

  

Important Notes

·      Options 2 and 3 will pre-fill the servicing calculator using data from the scenario or deal card.

·      Some lenders may not have calculators available within the system. This may be because their calculators are only available online.

·      To enable macros please refer to the attached link for the button combination and further information, (CTRL+ALT+F9 on PC or FN+ CTRL+OPT+F9 on MAC)
