BOQ (Bank of Queensland)

  • From 31st August 2024, BOQ has paused the acquisition of new Bank of Queensland home loan customers via the Broker channel. They will accept applications for new customers up to and including 30th August 2024. All existing customers will continue to be supported, including new lends.

CBA

  • CBA accepts brokers who are enrolled to complete a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or an advaced Diploma / Associated Diploma), within 12 months of becoming CommBank accredited.
New Accreditation:

CBA requests that brokers be a Credit Rep under SFG (Specialist Finance Group) and not MLB (My Local Broker), for this we will need to set up a cross-endorsement agreement between the broker and SFG. There is a monthly fee of $130 incl GST for this agreement which is to cover the cost of being appointed under SFG. Please consider if you will be writing enough deals to CBA to cover this fee.

Broker Accreditation Requirements

IMPORTANT - Macquarie will only accept brokers who are serious about submitting loans to them and to prove you are serious, you must complete the online training within the specified time frame, otherwise they will decline your application for accreditation and may not allow you to try again.

  • Macquarie requires 2 years experience or a Mentor that meets Macquarie Banks criteria
