How to Add a Loan Account Number and Lender Reference Number

Important note upfront

 

The Post to Commissions function is not operational in Chief 2.0.

This is not a bug — the commissions software has not been connected to Chief, nor was it connected in 1.0.

 

Because of this:

·      Adding a loan account number via Post to Commissions will always generate an error message

·      This function should not be used for entering loan account or lender reference numbers

 

Adding a Loan Account Number

1.        Navigate to Home Loan Tools

2.        Go to the Summary section

3.        Scroll down to Recommended Product

4.        Click Edit

5.        Enter the Loan Account Number

6.        Click Save

 

The loan account number will now be saved correctly without triggering an error.

 

Adding a Lender Reference Number

1.        Navigate to Home Loan Tools

2.        Go to the Summary section

3.        Scroll down to Recommended Product

4.        Click Edit

5.        Enter the Lender Reference Number

6.        Click Save

 

Important:

·      The lender reference number field is only available for submitted deals
